The book offers an in-depth account of memory activism and memory of activism confronting the silence, denial, and unwanted memories in a post-conflict setting. This is an important book for memory studies and civic engagement against forgetting and commemorative solidarity beyond ethnicity. The book is a must-read for memory, peace, and conflict scholars, especially those interested in memory activism in Serbia and other post-Yugoslav successor states.
